Triston Garcia – Assistant Principal

My name is Triston Garcia and I was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. I moved to the valley to attend ASU, where I earned a B.S. in Biochemistry. After graduating I began a career in teaching that continued for 4 years. I've taught 3rd through 8th grades in a variety of subjects including pre-algebra, algebra 1, chemistry, biology, and physics. This will be my 9th year working in education, my 6th year with the AMS network, and my 4th year in administration. In my free time I love gardening, listening to NPR, building new projects, and floating in the pool with my husband of 2 years that I have been with for 11 years. I look forward to making this AMS Avondale's best year yet!
