5th Grade - Science

In Science class, your student will be taught based on the Arizona State Standards for Science. We will be using Mypals for 5^th grade Science to support the students’ learning in order to meet the student’s goals. Students will be creating and utilizing an interactive science notebook in order to support their learning as well. They will also be engaging in hands-on activities and projects in class as way to deepen their understanding of various science topics, as well as show how science and can be fun. The program Study Island will also be used to further support the students learning by giving them extra practice and promoting higher order thinking skills.
