5th Grade - Math

In Math class, your student will be taught based on the Arizona State Standards for Mathematics. We will be using Saxon for our Math curriculum, and I will also be using additional resources to meet students’ goal at the end of the year. Variety of teaching methods will also be used to ensure that the different learning styles of the students are met. The program Study Island will also be used to further support the students learning by giving them extra practice and promoting higher order thinking skills.
